Funk Attack

Millfield's Funk Attack is full of energy, power and attitude and can be experienced live with international musicians and singers who have played with: Michael Jackson, Ray Charles, Sting, Miles Davis, Stevie Wonder, Tower of Power, Larry Graham and Danish artists such as Sanne, Burhan G and Erann.

The inspiration is clearly from Earth Wind & Fire, Incognito, Brand New Heavies & Tower of Power, so it's a funky energy charge with groovy bass figures, solid drumming, swinging guitars and the good old retro sound of Fender Rhodes and Hammond Organ. At the top, of course, is a sublime horn section with sharp riffs, horn themes and swinging solos.
