About Michael Millfield

Since Michael was a boy, he dreamed of performing on the big international stages. As one of the European lead trumpeters, the dream has come true. Michael has extensive experience as both lead trumpeter and soloist, he likes taking musical responsibility and has creative suggestions for phrasing and intonation. Professional surroundings and solid experience combined with his love of music give him the ability to master a broad variety of music genres. He is also a good note reader and an intuitive ear-musician.

Michael masters a large tonal register and he can switch between trumpet, grand piano horn, alto horn, trombone and keyboard as needed. As something completely unique, he can also, using electrical effects, harmonize his sound so that it sounds like several horns.
